Details of Your Course of Treatment

Pulmonary rehabilitation program provided by URTC is tailored according to the individual patient’s needs identified during initial examination. Depending on the chosen length of stay, course of treatment consists of 5, 10 or 14 therapeutic sessions carried out in the salt chambers and lasting 6.5 hours each.
The treatment takes form of an active rehabilitation (modern breathing gymnastics) including:

  • breath control exercises,
  • correction of the breathing model,
  • diaphragm path breathing,
  • respiratory muscles training and bronchial tree procedures.

To maximise benefits of the programme, enhance sense of wellbeing and promote relaxation, complimentary approaches such as music and physical therapies are also offered. Patient’s are strongly encouraged to use well equipped gym. Fully trained and caring staff is committed to provide unforgettable experience in beautiful and truly unique setting.

In Addition, the Centre offers private consultations with specialists such as: pulmonologist, neurologist, laryngologist, dermatologist and cardiologist in their premises located near by. The facilities are fully equipped to carry out diagnostic tests to include spirometry, ECG, pulsoksymetry, glucose level and blood pressure measurements. There are also inhalation and physiotherapy services available (magnetic therapy, laser therapy, electrotherapy, local cryotherapy, light therapy, kinesistherapy, hydrotherapy, massages.)
